	The Nanny Textbook: The Professional Nanny Guide to Child Care by A. M. Merchant This is the best known professional guide for nannies. Very straight-forward, there is no doubt that this is a textbook. Good resource to own if "The Professional Nanny" book recommended above is too expensive.
	Becoming a Nanny: Working As a Live-in Childcare Provider by Chandra Bloodgood Much shorter than the other books on this list, this is an easy to read practical guide on becoming a full-time nanny.
